About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented O&M Manager to take full ownership of our solar street lighting projects. You will be the bridge between initial procurement and long-term functionality. This role isn’t just about getting the lights up; it’s about ensuring they stay on. You will identify top-tier installers, negotiate high-stakes contracts, navigate the red tape of local permitting, and serve as the primary lead for all after-market support and warranty claims.

Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure Project Management, Construction Operations, or Renewables.
• Proven ability to read and negotiate vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local utility permitting processes.
• Comfortable using IoT monitoring platforms and Project Management software (e.g., Procore, Monday.com, or HubSpot).
• A "fixer" mentality—you don't just report a problem; you find the person or the part to solve it.

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, and onboard qualified electrical subcontractors and solar installers.
• Manage the end-to-end permitting process, ensuring all local zoning, building, and electrical codes are met.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and municipal authorities or private developers.
• Negotiate pricing, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and specific Project Work Orders.
• Review and refine Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) to mitigate company risk regarding installation delays or hardware defects.
• Analyze vendor bids to ensure the best balance of cost-efficiency and technical expertise.
• Oversee the remote monitoring systems for installed solar street lights to ensure optimal uptime.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends or recurring hardware failures.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all after-market requests, repairs, and maintenance.
• Enforce warranty terms with manufacturers and installers to ensure repairs are completed at minimal cost to the company.
• Coordinate "truck rolls" (dispatching technicians) for physical repairs and system audits.
