About The Position

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Logistics and Routing Coordinator. WIN Waste Innovations is a waste management company committed to delivering essential waste management solutions to customers and communities supported by our team of 2,300 employees. These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream. Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience in routing and dispatching
Ability to learn at a fast pace with initiative
Ability to interpret data effectively

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is preferred

Responsibilities

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics including routing efficiency, customer service frequency, container optimization.
Problem-solving skills to take quick and decisive action to optimize routes in an efficient manner
Effective oral communication skills to collaborate with local operations teams, drivers, and other internal customers
Familiarity with logistics routing software
Ability to think outside the box when spotting opportunities for improvement
In-depth knowledge of routing efficiency and optimization
Must be able to provide customer support for routing issues
Responsible for reporting and root causing sequence compliance opportunities
Must be able to receive feedback and work closely with local site leadership for continuous improvement
Responsible for maintaining routes including adding/removing stops
Additional tasks may be assigned by their direct supervisor
Ride along with drivers to understand routing opportunities, efficiencies, and container optimizations
Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is preferred
Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
