Requirements

  • Minimum AS degree with production 4-6 years of operations/manufacturing planning or supply chain experience
  • BS/BA degree with 3-6 years’ experience preferred
  • In lieu of degree 8+ years of relative experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required
  • Strong oral and written communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and organizational skills required
  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP, or other MRP system, strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings with customers and providing delivery status and commitments
  • Attend department meetings, manage actions and conduct follow-up with owners
  • Identify long lead parts such as castings, bearings, gears, etc. and gather historical lead time data ensuring orders are released in a timely fashion.
  • Work with internal customers such as engineering, Quality, shop floor, shipping and receiving, and other departments.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of manufacturing plans as well as hold assembly readiness meetings
  • Occasionally work with external suppliers to follow up on lead times, schedule and ship dates.
  • Coordinate with shop floor operations supporting personnel to provide priorities
  • Provide status updates to the Program Managers, Value Stream Leaders and external customer
