About The Position

At Truss Vet, we’re on a mission to elevate the human-animal bond by removing barriers to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care. Our urgent care clinics are tailored to pets with non-life-threatening issues that don’t belong in the ER but can’t wait for a regular vet visit. The mission of our Operations & Launch Manager is to support strategic initiatives to improve our clinics and help launch amazing new ones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Based in Raleigh-Durham, NC (preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly proactive (self-starter) and efficient (gets a lot of stuff done)
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, question the results, generate insights, and construct solutions
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Innate desire to constantly improve and grow things
  • Reliable, trustworthy, honest, and highly communicative
  • Tech-savvy and particularly competent with Google Sheets, Excel, and G Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer candidates with previous veterinary management or healthcare operations experience, or a detailed understanding of veterinary operations workflows

Responsibilities

  • Project management of new clinic launches, ensuring each project is delivered on time and to specification
  • Assist with team training and other setup tasks for new sites
  • Effectively manage, review, and extract valuable insights from the financial and analytical data of multiple clinics
  • Regularly collaborate with operations, leadership, and other members of the company to execute on strategic projects designed to improve existing clinics
  • Harness a wide range of data sources and information to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to implement processes across multiple or all clinics within the organization
  • Regulatory compliance for new sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DEA, state/federal regulations, etc.
