This is a paid program located in the Oakland NJ office. The hours for this program are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Warehouse Operations team as an Operations and Inventory Management Intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various aspects of logistics/process improvements while working closely with our experienced operations professionals. We are committed to providing real work opportunities for intern candidates through hands-on experience and a variety of projects.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records within internal systems (ERP/WMS).
  • Investigate and document inventory discrepancies.
  • Support organization of warehouse bin locations and inventory zones.
  • Assist with tracking parts, devices, and materials across multiple locations.
  • Process Control & Operational Support Assist in monitoring operational processes to ensure adherence to company procedures.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Support operational projects focused on workflow optimization and automation.
  • Help maintain process control logs and operational performance metrics.
  • Administrative Support Provide administrative assistance to operations leadership and warehouse teams.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational summaries.
  • Maintain organized records of operational activities and system updates.
  • Assist with coordinating cross-functional communication between departments.
  • Document Control & Work Instructions Assist with creating, editing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop step-by-step work instructions for operational tasks .
  • Ensure documentation is organized, version-controlled, and accessible.
  • Support documentation updates when processes change or improve.
