About The Position

For over 100 years, Maguire Iron has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. Construction Management – Intern will work in the project management area of new tank construction and tank maintenance. This person will work closely with project coordinators and project managers in the business.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Completed first year of post-secondary education.
  • Able to accept responsibility and account for own actions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in written form.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

  • Research solutions and develop a standard operating procedure to maximize Maguire’s shipping and receiving process on campus.
  • Possess basic time management skills to complete work on-time.
  • Collaborate with Project Management team for the Iron division to research incoming and existing contracts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Research industry benchmarks and financial best practices to support ongoing projects.
  • Adhere to Maguire’s Personal Protective Equipment Policy and Safety Programs.
  • Assist Operations Teams across Maguire.
