About The Position

Schneider is seeking an Operations Intern in Elwood, IL to provide support to Schneider's operations team. The Operations Intern will solve problems as they arise and complete administrative processes, while gaining transportation experience. Internship-specific opportunities: Networking events with Schneider associates. Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders. Business resource groups meetings and events. Volunteer activities. After-work social gatherings.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a college or university.
• Working toward an associate or bachelor's degree.
• Able to work full-time over the summer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with various systems and programs.
• Work with a variety of teams, including customer service, safety and equipment maintenance.
• Resolve customer and equipment issues.
• Lead a project or initiative to solve a business problem.
