About The Position

This is an opportunity for an Operations Intern at the Warren location. The intern will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, facilitating team member training, adhering to quality philosophies, auditing compliance, participating in 5S activities, driving safety culture, and assisting with audit processes. The role also involves validating operational documents, participating in engagement activities, and collaborating with various departments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Highly experienced in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to use of data-based decision making and problem solving.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work activities.
  • Must be able to function well in a team environment.
  • Ability to build positive relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Computer literacy to include Windows applications and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company’s quality policies, values and philosophies.
  • Help facilitate team member training, including but not limited to onboarding, on the job training, creating and modifying content.
  • Adhere to Quality philosophies and policies.
  • Audit compliance to the versatility matrix, direct labor performance evaluations, etc.
  • Actively participate in daily 5S activities.
  • Drive safety culture and promote safety as a personal value.
  • Comply with all national, local, and Company policies and regulations.
  • Assist with audit processes to identify gaps in policies and procedures and implement corrective actions for any nonconformities (PVS, SOT, 5S).
  • Validate daily operational documents.
  • Participate in engagement activities.
  • Actively participate in staffing and scheduling activities.
  • Be a collaborative partner and actively communicate with all departments within the facility.
  • All other duties as assigned.
