Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Operations Intern to support multiple back-office functions across the credit union. This rotational internship provides hands-on experience within eServices, Treasury Operations, Payment Services, and Card Operations, offering a comprehensive view of how operations work in the organization and the direct impact on members. Interns will contribute to key initiatives and system enhancement. This role offers exposure to complex system integrations, enterprise-wide change management efforts, and strategic operations initiatives. As part of a fast-paced and evolving environment, the Operations Intern will gain valuable insight into payment systems, process improvements, system upgrades, and cross-department collaboration. This experience will strengthen teamwork, prioritization, and technical skills while providing a broad understanding of the credit union’s operational strategy and member impact.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through eServices, Treasury Operations, Payment Services, and Card Operations to gain hands-on experience across key back-office functions
  • Support day-to-day operational activities and help ensure payment systems and internal processes run efficiently and accurately
  • Assist with major initiatives and system enhancements, including FINBOA implementation and Treasury product rollouts
  • Contribute to projects such as Zelle for Business, EMV chip expiration updates, Early Pay, Visa SavingsEdge, and Commercial OLMB enhancements
  • Participate in system upgrades, process improvements, and procedural updates across Operations teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support Onstage teams and enhance the member experience
  • Observe and analyze how funds flow in and out of the organization and understand the operational impact on members
  • Assist with documentation, testing, and change management efforts related to new technologies and system integrations
  • Develop time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment
