Position Purpose Under frequent supervision, gain a broad understanding of the RLI business through real-world insurance experience and on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Requires current enrollment in a College/University institution pursuing a college degree
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field or position.
• Ability to analyze and resolve basic issues.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and work closely with operations, underwriting and management to support the underwriting operation.
• Analyze and interpret data from various systems and underwriting sources.
• Assist in policy issuance and preparing endorsements and changes to policies.
• Research and deliver investigative findings to underwriters and management.
• Complete project-based assignments and tasks assigned.
• Participate in RLI Summer Internship program which is coordinated by our home office. All interns will have the opportunity to travel to our home office in Peoria, IL to network with interns from across the country and meet with and present to RLI leaders.
