Operations Intern – Performance & Analytics
About The Position
The Summer Internship Program at Jennison Associates is a 10 week program that includes a variety of events and projects to provide students with a challenging and meaningful experience. This program was created and formalized with the goal of preparing students for their future by enhancing their industry knowledge and expanding their professional network, while providing them with a real-life work experience. The Operations Intern will help the Performance and Analytics team by helping to gather data for the annual GIPS verification. And supporting any project work/testing and contributing in the day-to-day aspects of the group.
Requirements
- We are currently seeking a candidate who is highly motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, and has the ability to work in a busy environment while multi-tasking.
- 3.3 GPA or higher
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel – able to build, maintain and decipher complex Excel formulas, ability to build macros
- Experience with other Microsoft Office tools
- Must possess intellectual curiosity and have strong interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize effectively, have strong organization skills and ability to deliver on tight deadlines and tasks
- Availability to work up to 40 hours per week over 10 weeks (beginning in June to mid-August approximately)
- This role will work in alignment with Jennison’s hybrid model (onsite Tuesday – Thursday and remote Monday, Friday)
Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of the performance dashboard
- Update and maintain analytics tracking in JIRA
- Enhance/automate worksheets and workflows to streamline processes, reduce errors and save time
- Manage and test JIRA projects
- Assist in analytics requests
- Assist in other day to day functions
