Intern – Operations & Data Analytics Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defense industries, is now recruiting for its 2026 Internship Program. Our team is looking for an Operations & Data Analytics Intern to join them. You will report to the site leadership team and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python) is a plus.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
• A proactive mindset with a desire to drive operational improvement and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Project Ownership: Be assigned a specific project aligned with business priorities and your academic background. Develop a structured project plan outlining objectives, milestones, and timelines, with sponsorship from a senior leader.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Operational Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality to evaluate processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand project scope and business challenges. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Final Presentation: Prepare and deliver a formal presentation to senior management at the conclusion of the internship, summarizing your analysis, recommendations, and measurable impact.
• Continuous Learning: Gain exposure to aerospace manufacturing operations while developing technical and professional skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.
