About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Data Analytics Intern to join our team for a full‑time summer internship. This role is ideal for a student who is eager to gain hands‑on experience transforming data into actionable insights using Power BI and Tableau. The intern will partner closely with analytics and business stakeholders to support reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision making.
Requirements
- Currently majoring in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field and actively enrolled in a degree seeking program (undergraduate or graduate)
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau (academic, internship, or project-based experience acceptable)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and basic data manipulation
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL or other query languages
- Familiarity with databases, data modeling concepts, or ETL processes
- Exposure to programming languages such as Python or R
- Previous internship, coursework, or projects involving real‑world data analysis
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Support data cleaning, validation, and transformation efforts to ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Finance, Sales, Operations) to understand reporting needs
- Document data definitions, report logic, and dashboard usage
- Present findings and insights to team members in a clear and concise manner
- Contribute to ad‑hoc analytics projects and process improvement initiatives
