Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with supporting operations integration and change management (CM) activities in space, ground, software, and hardware systems for Major Defense Acquisition Programs
  • Experience with identifying, analyzing, and reporting impacts to an operational mission through technical reports and impact assessments, and recommending solutions, mitigation, alternatives, and corrective actions at control board meetings
  • Experience with developing and managing tactical and strategic operational resource schedules
  • Experience with developing, documenting, and executing a Lean-Agile CM process to manage the operational baseline at all integration levels
  • Ability to develop and maintain a government repository of all maintenance, usage, and baseline change activities to include ICDs, Military Memorandums, and Requirements Documents, from all stakeholders, that will be available across the Remote Sensing Capability Areas
  • Ability to facilitate, manage, brief, and participate in Government and program engineering review boards and change control boards, such as program-level Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, Engineering Review Board (ERB) meetings, and all related working group meetings
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of program milestones
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience with space-based remote sensing systems and operations
  • Experience with using the Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and operational baselines
  • Experience in working with large amounts of data
  • Experience with using metrics to improve processes and ensure consistency and standardization across the organization
  • Experience with planning and executing program reviews throughout the life cycle of the system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including MS Project and Excel
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
