About The Position

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Operations Financial Analyst is a key strategic partner to the business, leveraging data, trends, and performance insights to drive smarter decisions. This role focuses on optimizing financial outcomes for both Thomas Cuisine and our clients through proactive financial monitoring, meaningful analysis, and a hands‑on approach to supporting operational and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • 2 + years previous experience working cross functionally on proformas, strategic pricing and other external client / vendor financial initiatives.
  • 3+ years of relevant, applied experience in finance /accounting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at the senior level.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel / Vena / PowerPoint and financial modeling.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or other financial ERP systems and SQL.
  • Passion for REAL Food principles and operational excellence.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor and thought partner to operations and leadership, providing expert guidance on client financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and new business models.
  • Drive financial clarity and performance by developing benchmarks, dashboards, and KPIs that translate complex data into actionable insights across accounts.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews by delivering clear analysis, compelling storytelling, and practical recommendations that strengthen margins and support confident decision‑making.
  • Partner closely with operations to roll out, review, and manage client budgets, track incentives and penalties, and proactively surface trends, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain financial models, proformas, and scenario analyses to support pricing decisions, contract renewals, long‑range planning, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Continuously elevate financial reporting by standardizing tools, templates, and best practices, improving data integrity, and transforming information into easily digestible, value‑added insights.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with accounting, operations, and IT to enhance reporting systems, automation, and overall financial visibility.
  • Support financial literacy across the organization by partnering with non‑finance leaders and helping translate financial results into meaningful operational actions.
