About The Position

As an Operations Finance Analyst, Warehousing & Consignment, you will have ownership for offsite location inventory management, accounting, analysis, and financial controls supporting Industrial Coatings, Packaging Coatings and Automotive OEM Coatings. You will work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) from our Pittsburgh Headquarters while supporting these locations, with expectation of some on-site visits throughout the year. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 1 year of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding Excel knowledge required.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or other large ERP system
  • Willingness to travel up to 6x per year to warehouse or consignment locations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly closing activities and prepare and report on financial results.
  • Analyze and prepare account reconciliations to identify trends and ensure accuracy of the account balances.
  • Support the Industrial Segment supply chain team on transportation and distribution expense reporting, budgeting, analysis and proactive cost actions.
  • Organize inventory counts for warehouses and consignment locations throughout the US and CA, with attendance as needed, and oversee the reconciliation and posting of adjustments.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly recosts and analyze results to understand real-time cost changes.
  • Facilitate regular review of slow moving, obsolete and excess inventory at offsite locations and work with sales support teams to ensure appropriate accounting.
  • Support the SBU finance and Supply Chain team with reporting on inventory and other ad-hoc analyses, to enhance the financial understanding and decision-making of Operations management and other functions.
