About The Position

Timoney Knox, LLP, a respected Montgomery County law firm, is seeking an Operations and Facilities Coordinator to support the daily operations and facilities management of our firm. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the seamless operation, professional appearance, and overall functionality of our office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation (frequent local travel required).
  • Practical experience with managing physical spaces, vendor relationships, and maintenance tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches) and equipment such as dollies, hand trucks and leaf blowers.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for building suppliers and vendors (e.g., janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, electrical, and alarm services), keeping records of maintenance and inspections.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of all common areas and building exteriors.
  • Manage and stock office supply inventory for copy rooms, conference rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces.
  • Oversee the upkeep of firm equipment such as copiers, printers, and computers, coordinating repairs and service as needed.
  • Receive and distribute deliveries throughout the office.
  • Handle daily mail operations, including post office runs, sorting, and internal distribution.
  • Coordinate and lead workstation, furniture, and technology moves.
  • Make bank deposits when required.
  • Perform minor repairs and furniture assembly as needed.
  • Provide courier services to courthouses and clients as needed.
  • Assist with office projects such as scanning, shredding, file management, and assembling trial binders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the firm’s operations.
