About The Position

eGourmet Solutions is one of the leading refrigerated and perishable fulfillment facility in the United States. We are seeking a Operations Excellence Coordinator to join our finance team. This role plays a key role in improving operational performance across our fulfillment network. This role focuses on testing and implementing packaging solutions, supporting automation initiatives, and helping prepare the organization for operational certifications and audits. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally to drive operational improvements in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Requirements

• 2–5 years experience in operations, logistics, fulfillment, or process improvement.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate operational data and test results.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with great attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and computer skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with packaging testing, warehouse automation, or certification processes is a plus.
• Experience with cold chain or food logistics operations.
• Basic understanding of GMP audit requirements.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and fulfillment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Packaging & Thermal Testing Lead package and thermal performance testing programs to evaluate shipping methods, materials, and configurations.
• Document testing protocols, results, and recommendations to optimize cost, product protection, and transit performance.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and engineering teams to implement packaging improvements.
• Automation Implementation Manage the operational side of automation projects, including workflow design, process documentation, and rollout coordination.
• Work with warehouse teams and vendors to support installation, testing, and launch of new automation technologies.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and identify opportunities for further optimization.
• Certification & Audit Preparation Support preparation for operational certifications and third-party audits (food safety, quality, or logistics certifications).
• Coordinate documentation, process validation, and operational readiness across departments.
• Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain compliance standards.
• Operational Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Track key operational metrics and support initiatives that drive operational excellence.
• Work closely with operations leadership to execute strategic improvement projects.
