About The Position
RWE Clean Energy, LLC To start as soon as possible, full time, fixed term RWE’s Operations Engineering – Electrical Balance of Plant team is seeking a motivated Engineering Summer Intern to join our dynamic group. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with high voltage electrical equipment, supporting their maintenance practices, and developing key skills in technical documentation and data management. This role is ideal for students eager to develop practical engineering skills, gain exposure to electrical equipment maintenance, and contribute to the reliability of RWE’s operations. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with electrical systems or high voltage equipment is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar CMMS is desirable
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- RWE Clean Energy is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and validation of high voltage equipment technical data in SAP CMMS
- Support the analysis of engineering drawings and test reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Participate in maintenance planning and learn best practices for high voltage asset management
- Collaborate with team members on data improvement projects and process optimization
