About The Position

City Bean Roasters is seeking an Operations & Customer Service Manager - a diverse role where you will wear many different hats to keep our company running smoothly on multiple fronts. No two days will be the same, and we need someone that thrives with juggling responsibilities, taking ownership over projects, managing their time effectively to ensure goals are accomplished on schedule, all the while being the day-to-day customer service contact for our wholesale client base. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 yrs experience as an operations manager, customer service manager, or hospitality industry general manager
  • Appreciation for quality coffee
  • Desire to learn, grow and improve
  • Empathetic communicator

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, email & chat inboxes to resolve inquiries and offer guidance
  • Receive and process all orders from our wholesale portal and retail website
  • Onboard new wholesale customers and provide ongoing customer support
  • Represent City Bean with professionalism and kindness (a core company value)
  • Provide support and coordination for our sales, accounting, and production teams
  • Oversee marketing and social media team
  • Project manage various initiatives to foster growth and efficiency
  • Understand and maintain integrity of CB systems (square, squarespace, wholesale portal, shipstation, cropster, quickbooks, etc)
  • Provide basic IT oversight (email systems, phones, hardware)
  • Inventory management / ordering for goods and supplies
