About The Position

As an Outside Opts Specialist, you will manage relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by advertising vacancies, coordinating onboarding processes, and preparing driver guides according to customer and regulatory requirements. You will track expiring credentials, ensure yearly contracts are executed, and follow up with ICs who terminate their contracts. Additionally, you will provide guidance to ensure compliance with field offices regarding IC interactions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong data entry and administrative support skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • 2 to 3+ years of administrative or strong retail (operational) experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while multi-tasking.
  • Detail-oriented and sensitive to communicating accurate information verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of mechanical/automotive systems and repair type coding.
  • Experience in transportation, recruiting, auto service advising, or auto claims adjusting.
  • Enjoy being part of a cooperative and considerate team.
  • Experience in using CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Independent Contractor relationships and coordinate onboarding processes.
  • Prepare driver guides based on customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Track expiring credentials and ensure yearly contracts are executed.
  • Follow up with Independent Contractors who terminate their contracts.
  • Provide guidance and ensure compliance in IC interactions and relationships.
  • Manage damage repairs by preparing work orders and acting as the principal contact between body shop vendors, insurance carriers, and customers.
  • Consult with body shops regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives.
  • Ensure repair service details and costs are communicated to customers and process invoices.
  • Monitor team dashboard and complete tasks to keep orders moving.
  • Perform regular administrative tasks in support of the team.
  • Assist with business projects and reporting.
  • Actively identify and engage in process improvements.
