About The Position

The Food Bank Operations Coordinator in Orlando is essential to the growth and sustainability of AHF’s Food for Health program, particularly as we expand our food bank model. This position supports AHF’s broader direction of integrating wraparound services—such as food and nutrition—into HIV care for improved health outcomes and client retention. As the Orlando food bank grows, the daily operational workload has exceeded what a single manager can manage effectively. This Coordinator will handle transactional tasks such as client scheduling, SmartChoice order support, food packing and preparation, data entry, and most critically, home deliveries for eligible clients. These duties are key to ensuring that people living with HIV/AIDS receive timely and consistent food support. Without this role, the Food Bank Manager is pulled away from higher-level responsibilities such as community outreach, client follow-up, and billing—all of which are essential for expanding our reach and maximizing revenue.
