About The Position

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination and scheduling of cranes, operators, riggers, and drivers to meet customer expectations. This role ensures all jobs are properly staffed, prepared, and ready to begin at the start of each workday.

Requirements

  • Min 2 years’ experience in an operations coordinator or dispatch role
  • Crane & Rigging experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA laws and regulations required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Availability to work some weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Crane & Rigging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule cranes and operators for daily and long‑term projects using the Fleet Cost & Care system.
  • Maximize utilization and efficiency of equipment and labor to support operational profitability.
  • Reduce labor‑related overtime through proactive and strategic scheduling.
  • Ensure operators submit accurate job tickets daily.
  • Prepare crane load‑outs and arrange all necessary trucking prior to departures.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations manager to support labor force efficiency and in‑house operational needs.
  • Collaborate with management and sales to identify opportunities that improve productivity and operational performance.
  • Represent Allegiance Crane with professionalism in all customer communications.
  • Maintain regular in‑person communication with office staff.
  • Demonstrate a self‑starter mindset with the ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
