About The Position

As an Operations Coordinator specializing in program audits, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, and compliance of programs through both prospective and retrospective chart reviews. In this role, you will evaluate the accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards, identifying areas for improvement and supporting the implementation of corrective action plans. By conducting proactive and comprehensive audits of client and program records, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, enhancing service delivery, and supporting positive outcomes for individuals and communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to travel to program sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Audit Tools: Create and regularly update audit tools tailored to each program, incorporating feedback from regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and industry best practices to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct Prospective and Retrospective Audits: Perform and document thorough audits of program charts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Evaluate Program and Service Delivery: Review client records, program documentation, and service delivery practices through both on-site and remote assessments to gauge quality and adherence to established protocols.
  • Analyze Data and Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Utilize audit findings to detect trends, gaps, and inefficiencies, providing actionable insights to improve program performance.
  • Prepare and Present Detailed Audit Reports: Draft clear, comprehensive reports summarizing findings and recommendations; present results at Local Performance Quality Improvement (LPQI) - meetings to program leadership and with actionable follow-up steps.
  • Collaborate on Corrective Action Plans: Work with program managers to design, implement, and monitor corrective measures that address identified issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and Follow-Up on Compliance Measures: Conduct follow-up reviews to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Support Training and Compliance Education: Coordinate and contribute to training sessions on regulatory standards, audit requirements, and quality assurance best practices within behavioral health services.
