As an intern in the Operations Control Systems (OCS) group, you will assist in designing, testing, reviewing, and implementing automation and control systems for NYPA’s transmission and generation facilities. You will work closely with controls engineers to develop software and hardware solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of power generation and transmission. Your role will also include analyzing data from various sensors and control devices to optimize system performance. Additionally, you will participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation equipment. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to critical projects that ensure seamless and sustainable energy delivery to NYPA customers. Our paid 10-week Summer Developmental Internship program runs from June 2 - August 7, 2026.
