Responsibilities What You’ll Do as an Operations Compliance Administrator As an Operations Compliance Administrator at Lewis Services, you’ll: Administer the operational herbicide and pesticide licensing program Establish and continuously refine licensing processes and requirements Research and stay current on local, state, and federal regulatory changes Serve as the primary communication link between operations and the corporate office for compliance matters Track license renewals and expirations within company systems Proactively identify risk areas where additional licenses or filings may be required Review operational bids to ensure proper licensing requirements are identified Support operations teams with exam information, study materials, and licensing preparation Process license applications and related payments accurately and timely Support regulatory tracking requirements across operating entities Develop, monitor, and update key performance indicators Conduct internal compliance audits and prepare related reporting Manage and track annual reports, business licenses, and contractor licenses Serve as the main point of contact for third-party processors and coordinate with operating entities File ad hoc annual reports, business licenses, and contractor licenses Lead support efforts during external audits related to licensing programs Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance or a related field
  • Experience with regulatory or customer service matters related to vegetation management
  • Basic understanding of vegetation management operations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and analyze documents accurately
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to engage effectively with field operations and corporate teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments with moderate to high stress levels

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with compliance in the vegetation management space
  • Bilingual (Spanish – written and spoken)
