About The Position

The Operations Business Functional Lead plays a critical role in supporting the Magellan Program implementation of SAP S/4HANA and EWM, serving as the principal business representative for assigned distribution functions. This pivotal position is responsible for defining and documenting business requirements, validating solution designs, leading testing efforts, and ensuring operational readiness and adoption. The Functional Lead acts as the primary liaison among business operations, IT, and program teams to facilitate seamless system integration and deployment. Work model & sponsorship: This is an on-site position based at our Brooklyn Park facility. Candidates must be able to work full time at the designated location. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience with ERP/WMS implementations, preferably GTS, XPS, and/or SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Champion program objectives by aligning business operations and program activities.
  • Lead requirements gathering, process definition, and design validation sessions.
  • Engage subject matter experts (SMEs) and Super Users during requirements, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project teams.
  • Promote organizational readiness and support user adoption and change management initiatives.
  • Define, document, and validate functional requirements and process flows to ensure alignment with operational objectives.
  • Participate in system configuration reviews to confirm proposed solutions meet business needs.
  • Lead and coordinate functional and integration testing, ensuring full end-to-end process coverage.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve system defects, and escalate cross-functional issues when necessary.
  • Assist with data validation, facilitate cutover readiness, and support go-live activities for a smooth system launch.
  • Oversee post go-live stabilization and hypercare, monitoring progress and addressing outstanding issues.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to drive process and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and program leadership to ensure a seamless transition to steady-state operations.
