About The Position

Immediate Hiring for Entry-Level and Experienced manufacturing team members at Glanbia Performance Nutrition! Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois. This range may not be applicable to other locations. The hourly rate for Illinois based employees for this role is $19.50/hour ($16.50/hour + $3.00 shift differential). Job Summary The operations associate position is a general labor role that executes production and manufacturing activities.

Requirements

  • Team player able to work in a participative "fast paced" work environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required.
  • Above average attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Able to perform manual tasks including but not limited to palletizing/de-palletizing, applying labels, caps, seals and stickers by hand, dropping scoops and packing finished product into boxes (production).
  • Able to operate Straddle Stacker and pallet jack.
  • Provide detailed cleaning on equipment and parts to support changeovers.
  • Must be able to perform daily housekeeping tasks to keep work area 6S'd (clean, organized).
  • Responsible for following GMP and Food Safety/Food Defense procedures.
  • Able to effectively follow written and oral instructions.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes, safety glasses, lab coat, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves and cut-resistant gloves when applicable.
  • Support and abide by the company's safety program and all safety initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Report all injuries to the Supervisor immediately.
  • Ensure that work procedures are being followed in a consistent manner (Safety, Quality, GMP, MAV and HACCP).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
