About The Position

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We explore robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics in the long term. This role lets you shape the future of drone delivery by running high-impact operations where tech meets logistics. As an Operations Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our drone operations. You'll monitor data and dashboards to spot trends, identify issues, and support decisions with actionable insights. You’ll help test and implement new workflows, contribute to operational playbooks, and provide on-the-ground support during site launches. This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, with regular in-person collaboration in operations at active drone delivery sites.

Requirements

• You Turn Data into Action: You’re confident in SQL and dashboards, not just for tracking performance—but for identifying issues early and helping teams make better, faster decisions.
• You Build Operational Tools That Scale: You’ve created SOPs, checklists, and workflows that are built for the real world. They’re clear, reliable, and designed to hold up under pressure as operations grow.
• You Know How to Lead on the Ground: With experience managing people or workstreams, you know how to set priorities, align with others, and keep execution on track—even in fast-changing environments
• You’re Comfortable Operating Across Borders: You’ve worked with teams or vendors across time zones and understand how to stay aligned, communicate clearly, and solve problems without delay.
• You’re Eager to Learn the Drone Space: You may not be a drone expert yet, but you’re genuinely excited about autonomy. You’re ready to dive into the technology, understand the regulations, and help shape how drones operate safely and reliably at scale.
