About The Position

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We explore robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics in the long term. If you have a passion for applying autonomous aviation technologies in a service used by millions of people, then we want to talk to you! This role lets you shape the future of drone delivery by running high-impact operations where tech meets logistics. You’ll monitor performance data, identify issues early, and improve workflows that keep operations efficient and compliant. You’ll support new site launches, refine operational playbooks, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to raise the bar on execution. Beyond systems and process, you’ll help build awareness and adoption in the communities we serve—finding thoughtful, creative ways to introduce drone delivery, answer questions, and strengthen local trust. This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, with regular in-person collaboration in operations at active drone delivery sites.

Requirements

You have experience in live operations and stay calm and decisive when things get ambiguous.
You execute with precision, especially in structured or regulated environments.
You’re confident with SQL and performance dashboards, using data to spot risks and opportunities early.
You can lead workstreams or small teams, set priorities, and keep execution on track.
You’re curious about autonomy and eager to understand the systems and regulatory landscape behind drone delivery.
You recognize that adoption requires strong community relationships—not just strong operations.

Responsibilities

Strengthen Ground Operations: Support day-to-day operational excellence across sites, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
Turn Data Into Decisions: Use SQL and dashboards to track performance, identify patterns, and drive continuous improvement.
Build What Scales: Create and refine SOPs, checklists, and workflows that hold up as operations grow.
Support Market Expansion: Help stand up new sites and test improvements in fast-moving environments.
Engage the Community: Represent the future of delivery—building awareness, answering questions, and helping drive adoption through trust and transparency.
