The Operations Associate II sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Includes Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles. This position reports to the Value Stream Manager and is part of the Wax Department, in Manufacturing Operations located in Richmond, IL and will be an on-site role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (will consider experience in lieu of education)
- Ability to communicate (understand/speak) in English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; standing/walking 90% of the workday

Responsibilities
- Perform all core Operations Associate (O1) responsibilities while demonstrating proficiency in at least two key processes, including glass handling, inspection, sanding, wax preparation, Parablock operation, silo loading, automated filler lines, or equipment changeovers.
- Set up, operate, and shut down equipment safely, troubleshooting routine issues and independently resolving common operational problems.
- Conduct quality control testing, pursue cross‑training to broaden skills, and recommend improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
