Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the School Principal, Operations Associate, and/or his/her designee, the Operations Assistant is a unique role that is responsible for providing support for the day to day operations of the school.
  • Overall, the Operations Assistant will serve as the backbone of the school’s day to day operations.
  • The individual will assist with parent and community communications, morning arrival and dismissal duties, daily operational logistics; lunchroom and/or bathroom supervision, etc.
  • Assist in setting a high-standard of operational excellence throughout the school building.
  • Support execution of school systems (i.e breakfast and lunch duty, morning arrival and afternoon dismissal assistance, etc.)
  • Assist in the creation and execution of school operational systems and structures that support the smooth operation of the school.
  • Monitor all student entrances/exits while using our student information systems and Scholarchip.
  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to data entry, making photocopies and taking inventory of and restocking supplies.
  • Assisting with the student registration process, including using Schoolmint, collecting documents, making phone calls.
  • Support all recruitment efforts.
  • Answering phone calls, taking messages, placing outgoing calls, and sending mass communications when delegated.
  • Monitor student bathroom usage.
  • Assists in school based programs that promote student engagement, parent involvement and community outreach.
  • Assists in the ongoing enhancement of community programs developed to provide services to students.
  • Provides assistance to the Principal and other school staff in support of outreach efforts to the community; attendance calls, etc.
  • Participates in projects designed to increase engagement, opportunity and success for students, families, and the school community.
  • Improves and encourages participation in school-related community development programs.
  • Other duties as needed
