About The Position

Operations Asset Analysts ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our equipment and systems. The position’s primary responsibility is to identify and analyze potential failures, develop and implement proactive strategies to mitigate risks, and continuously improve the reliability and maintainability of our products and systems. Operations Asset Analysts collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, maintenance, and operations, to drive reliability initiatives and optimize overall product performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reliability engineering principles, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a closely related technical degree.
  • Strong mechanical and operational knowledge of pressure pumping equipment and procedures.
  • Strong technical skills with one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
  • A strong understanding of root cause analysis principals and methods.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with Liberty’s operational and business procedures.
  • Experience with API’s and data integration across various platforms.
  • Willingness to travel to Liberty and vendor locations as project needs arise.
  • Operations Asset Analyst I: 2-4 years of related maintenance, manufacturing, or hydraulic fracturing field experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and manages work and meets deadlines under minimal or no supervision.
  • Implements and maintains software tools designed to enhance the performance of equipment including but not limited to Grafana, FracPulse (telemetry systems), and cross platform integrations.
  • Assists with root cause analysis and determination of equipment malfunctions and failures and develops physical and digital systems to improve equipment performance.
  • Assists with the implementation of new products and equipment.
  • Leverages reporting tools to continually monitor performance, identify gaps and areas needing improvement.
  • Maintains technical skill set for basic software languages, databases, platforms, operating systems, utilities, and networks as needed to support work assignments.
  • Implement Data-Driven Insights: Leverage telemetry and performance data to monitor key metrics, identify gaps in performance, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Enhance Data Processing Pipelines: Perform extensive data cleaning, preprocessing, and integration to ensure data accuracy and reliability across platforms and applications.
