About The Position

ATS is seeking a qualified Operations and Training Manager to support the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Mission Training Complex (MTC) Contract with Simulation/Stimulation training support. The Ops Manager shall serve as the manager for JBSA MTC Operations and Training. The Ops Manager shall manage and supervise Contractor support of day-to-day JBSA MTC operations and training to include exercise/event planning and operations support; scheduling and coordination of JBSA MTC resources and the training request process; knowledge management: individual C2IS training; collective training; and JBSA MTC task tracking. The Ops Manager shall participate in, and when required, lead various operations and exercise updates and staff meetings. The Ops Manager will work closely and coordinate with the JBSA MTC Government Operations Chief and/or Director to ensure the JBSA MTC Government is kept informed of training and event support requirements, any potential changes to those requirements, and any conflicts with overlapping or simultaneous requirements. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

Completed a BS or BA degree, subject immaterial.
Minimum five years of experience with military training and training support operations.
Five years of operations management experience.
Three years of experience, within the last ten years, with military simulations.
A robust understanding of the Army Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) and MTC operations.
Battalion or higher Command, Operations, or Training assignment or Civilian or Corporate equivalent
US Citizenship.
Possess a SECRET clearance.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
Have served as an FA57 or CP36.
Graduate of Command & General Staff College (CGSC) or Intermediate Level Education, Military Education Level 4 (ILE (MEL 4)), Senior NCOES or equivalent, or equivalent military or DoD Civilian leadership and administrative training.
Three years' experience on a senior Military Staff.
Two years' experience in an Army MTC position.
Possess a TOP SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

Serve as the manager for JBSA MTC Operations and Training.
Conduct overall scheduling management coordination.
Manage and supervise Contractor support of day-to-day JBSA MTC operations and training to include exercise/event planning and operations support
Manage scheduling and coordination of JBSA MTC resources and the training request process
Oversee/support knowledge management
Oversee/support individual C2IS training, collective training; and JBSA MTC task tracking.
Participate in, and when required, lead various operations and exercise updates and staff meetings.
Work closely and coordinate with the JBSA MTC Government Operations Chief and/or Director to ensure the JBSA MTC Government is kept informed of training and event support requirements, any potential changes to those requirements, and any conflicts with overlapping or simultaneous requirements.
Perform duties during standard operating hours as well as flextime and when required overtime.
Other duties as assigned.
