About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified individual to fill the Operations Analyst position. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and high-performing team dedicated to mission success. The Operations Analyst II will support Navy C4I programs by providing technical and analytical expertise to enhance warfare systems, operational readiness, and overall mission effectiveness. Responsibilities include analyzing operational and tactical data, supporting mission planning activities, and developing documentation and insights to inform decision-making for U.S. Navy commanders and program offices.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 7+ years of experience in operations research or related analytical fields
  • Experience analyzing software requirements and supporting cost-effective solutions using DoD enterprise software procurement vehicles
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis, develop solutions, and apply information technology in mission environments
  • Experience working in a hybrid/virtual environment, utilizing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools to support cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics or Mathematics or related field
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Responsibilities

  • Track program requirements, review Statements of Work (SOW), and support contract deliverables in collaboration with engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Provide subject matter expertise in naval systems (e.g., electromagnetic warfare, undersea warfare), supporting system readiness and troubleshooting efforts
  • Apply statistical, mathematical, and simulation models to analyze performance metrics, exercise outcomes, and sensor data
  • Develop technical reports, presentations, and briefings to communicate findings and project status to senior leadership
  • Support training development efforts, including creating content and evaluating training simulations for shipboard teams
