You will help build clarity around costing and performance trends that inform pricing, budgeting, and operational improvements. This role is not entry-level and is ideal for someone ready to grow in manufacturing finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in costing, manufacturing finance, plant accounting, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas
  • Experience building or analyzing cost or pricing models
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Manufacturing or plant finance experience
  • SAP or ERP system experience
  • Curiosity about how products are made and how costs are generated
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Confidence partnering with operations and influencing decisions using data
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and finalize product cost models and respond to ad hoc costing requests
  • Analyze cost variances and trends and translate them into clear insights
  • Support recurring and ad hoc financial reporting used by plant and business leaders
  • Partner with Operations teams to gather information, validate assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Spend approximately 10% of your time on the plant floor to build product and process understanding
  • Work with ERP systems (SAP) and related tools to ensure costing accuracy and data integrity
  • Identify ways to improve processes, reporting, and decision support
