About The Position

Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The Operations Analyst role within Data Governance supports the organization’s data management efforts by applying foundational analytical and technical skills. The analyst helps identify operational and data quality issues and ensures data is accurate, well‑defined, and aligned with established standards. Working with business teams and data owners, this role assists with process improvements, documents key data elements, and helps maintain clear data definitions. The analyst also supports data‑impacting projects and contributes to ongoing Data Governance activities that improve data reliability and operational efficiency. This position provides hands-on experience with scalable, well‑governed data practices while supporting the organization’s strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's
  • Business administration, economics, applied mathematics, computer science or other related quantitative fields
  • 0 - 4 years in an analytical, financial, information technology , or operational system orientated position
  • Strong desire to design and develop systems and data processes
  • Understanding of databases, SQL and data mining techniques
  • Analytically minded, with an ability to identify relevant information and organize data in a manner that creates value and insight for the business
  • Capable of being responsible for monitoring, developing and repairing business critical systems
  • Competent in communicating and presenting to varying levels of seniority within the organizations
  • Able to collaborate effectively and form productive business partnerships with various teams across the organization
  • Appropriately communicate technical concepts with people of varying degrees of technical understanding.
  • Eager desire to learn data management and operational system concepts
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or Advanced

  • 2+ years in an analytical, financial, information technology, or operational system orientated position

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various business teams, IT teams, and data experts to define data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support data‑related decision‑making.
  • Support data governance policies and standards and help ensure they are consistently applied across business processes.
  • Assist with monitoring and improving data quality by identifying issues, performing basic root‑cause analysis, and partnering with data experts to resolve gaps.
  • Help document and maintain critical data elements to improve transparency and support operational needs.
  • Perform ad hoc data extraction, analysis, and segmentation to diagnose system issues and assess the impact of potential solutions.
  • Participate as a project team member on data‑related or process improvement projects, from requirements gathering through testing and implementation.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve business processes and support the ongoing maintenance of Data Governance activities.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
