As an Operational Support Specialist at Collective, you are the detail-oriented, organized professional who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This role allows our on-site teams to focus on leasing, resident engagement, and property performance while you handle the essential back-office work from our support office. Requirements

  • 2+ years of multifamily property management experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Driver's license & ability to pass a background check
  • Proficiency with industry software (AppFolio preferred)
  • Ability to work independently

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
  • This position is based in our support office and requires regular office hours to be maintained.

Responsibilities

  • RUBS Review and Approval
  • Rental application review & document chasing
  • Renewal lease process (send offers → follow-up)
  • Delinquency & in-house collections (up to 60 days post-move-out)
  • Resident chargebacks (including resident electrical chargebacks)
  • Credit-card coding for on-site/maintenance purchases
  • Resident compliance (insurance, pets, vehicles, resident electrical audits)
  • Security deposit dispositions
  • Backup leasing support (communication as needed)
  • Assist in tenant notices (with Community Manager approval)
  • Ad-hoc special projects & reports for Regional Managers
