About The Position

As a member of the Operations Support team, you will work with others to be accountable for activities involved in the production of many of Pfizer's products. In your work, you will work with the Operational Robustness team that supports the process monitoring and campaign readiness for all suites (Mammalian and non-Mammalian) at Pfizer Andover. The Operational Robustness team is responsible for the following, but not limited to, activities associated with process monitoring of manufacturing campaigns, execution of new changes, technical support for processing issues, as well as support of master batch records/electronic batch records authoring/revision, SOP creation/authoring/revision, and audit support.

Requirements

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to coach and guide others effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and process tracking software
  • Capability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Experience in protein purification, cell culture operations, and solution formulation
  • Proficiency in data analysis and trend monitoring

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Continuous Improvement or Project Management Certifications
  • Previous experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with technology transfer and site assessment
  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
  • Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing suites with campaign readiness, execution, and post-production improvements with an operational background.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts directed at technically complex issues that arise in manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor the processes in real-time and perform trend analyses during campaigns to ensure expected performance and ability to communicate process performance across shifts and departments.
  • Implement and oversee process enhancements and support the integration of new technologies.
