About The Position

Purpose of the role To manage the implementation of strategic change initiatives to enhance the banks operational efficiency. Accountabilities Management of strategic operational changes and initiatives to enhance the bank's operational efficiency and effectiveness, including the identification and assessment of changes on people, processes, and systems. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers and SMEs to support business operation team and promote alignment between operations with the bank’s objectives. Development and implementation of change management strategies and effectively communicate the strategies so they are understood and adopted by stakeholders. Management and development of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business functions, utilising data and technology to support the identification of areas that require improvement. Comply with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to change management. Provision of guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the operational change management process through training and coaching. Join Barclays Operational Readiness and Transformation team as an Operational Readiness, AVP. where you will play a central role in overseeing and delivering change projects that keep our organization moving forward. In your role,, you'll help us ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope and budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will support strategic Operational Readiness and Transformation work across US Corporate Bank Operations, driving continuous improvement by assessing current processes, shaping future state operating models, and ensuring that change is effectively embedded across the organization.

Requirements

  • Overseeing internal change programs driving on time execution while maintaining scope and quality control
  • Demonstrated experience working with Fintech companies, including understanding their unique needs as a client base to drive innovative solutions and strengthen strategic partnerships
  • Confirmed proficiency in real-time or faster payment methods, showcasing knowledge of industry trends and direct experience implementing advanced payment solutions

Nice To Haves

  • ACH accreditation (or equivalent experience) to overseeing and driving projects and ensure sound operational practices and compliance with NACHA rules
  • Overseeing support processes for legal/contractual agreements or similar documentation and workflows (e.g., DACA; Deposit Account Control Agreements)
  • Operations, Technology, or other COO area experience
