About The Position

The Operational Planner is responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and executing the production plan for a designated work center. This role ensures Central Planning requirements are met on time by working closely with cross functional partners (Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management and Quality). This is an on‑site role, Monday through Friday, with regular presence required in production and cleanroom environments to support daily operations and decision‑making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in planning or logistics within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP (or XLOOKUP), SUMIF / COUNTIF, Pivot Tables, Data analysis and report creation.
  • Strong working knowledge of production planning concepts such as MRP, JIT, Kanban, Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting or leading process improvement, data analysis, or cost optimization initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Team‑oriented, collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Proactive, assertive, and solution‑driven approach to problem‑solving.
  • High level of ownership and accountability; able to make decisions within scope and escalate appropriately.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Flexible and highly committed to supporting the goals of the DUV / CF Factory.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools, processes, and information.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS CPIM knowledge or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, and adjust production work orders to ensure MRP requirements are met while optimizing work‑in‑progress (WIP) and inventory levels.
  • Attend daily production meetings (inside the cleanroom) to review build status, constraints, and schedule adherence.
  • Ensure material availability to support planned production orders; proactively identify and mitigate shortages or risks.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze Excel‑based reports related to material availability, capacity, and potential impact to shipment schedules.
  • Perform impact analysis to support allocation and prioritization decisions in collaboration with Materials, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
  • Support implementation of engineering changes, including managing scrap, coordinating rework activities, and securing required logistics.
  • Execute special projects, data analysis, and reporting requests on behalf of management.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across departments, escalating issues when needed and driving timely resolution.
  • Present data, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders and management as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
