Operational Excellence Manager
About The Position
The Manager of Operational Excellence will manage all day-to-day activities related to Lean within the Hospital. The manager will align all activities with the overall strategy and goals within the area of Operational Excellence to ensure outcomes are measured and sustained. Additionally, the Manager of Operational Excellence will facilitate multiple activities related to performance improvement, including the integration of Lean methodology through A3 projects, 5S projects, Lean Daily Management, performance boards, gemba walks, standard work development, staff coaching, and management tools development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of supervisory/ project management experience
- Demonstrated involvement in process improvement activities within role as healthcare leader
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma certification desired
