About The Position

The Program Manager is responsible for managing operational programs related to manufacturing high-volume energy management products at the Salcomp USA manufacturing facility in Arlington, Texas. This role oversees new product introductions (NPI), product transfers, and operational program execution while coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives. The Program Manager also supports program governance, manages risks, and communicates program progress and status to internal stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations or program management.
  • Experience working in electronics manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, demand planning, and capacity planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural, and geographically distributed environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or related field.
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs within global manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience working with vendors and external manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) and product transfer activities for the Arlington, TX manufacturing facility.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to achieve program objectives.
  • Manage program timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Establish program governance structures and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Support component material planning and availability to ensure production continuity.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to support component sourcing and localization initiatives.
  • Assist with demand planning and capacity planning to support operational requirements.
  • Drive capacity expansion initiatives across product lines at the Arlington facility.
  • Serve as the primary manufacturing point of contact for assigned programs.
  • Provide weekly and ad-hoc program status updates to customers and internal leadership.
  • Communicate program risks, issues, and mitigation plans in a timely manner.
  • Support customer program reviews and operational updates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and program execution.
  • Support miscellaneous operational projects and initiatives as required.
  • Promote problem-solving and root cause corrective action (RCCA) methodologies across programs.
