This role is full-time and is remote within the US and will report to the Director - Payment Operations. The Payments Operations Manager will oversee a team dedicated to operational excellence within the Payment Services Group at Conduent that is responsible for the clearing/unposted, redline, probate and reclamation processes within the Payments Back Office Department. This role could eventually expand to own other departments such as settlement and reconciliation or any others the director decides. The leader is responsible for building and leading this team and functions and is expected to be a seasoned people leader. This leader should understand and have experience across domains such as billing, payment, reconciliation, redline recovery and compliance. A successful candidate is expected to have prepaid card and/or Payment Financial Service experience as well as strong process improvement and project management skills. Experience in operations, ideally payments, financial services, Mastercard or Visa, is essential for hitting the ground running. It is also expected that this person will be proactive, collaborative with partners, possess strong communication skills and have a tenacious curiosity for improving the way things are done.
