The Operations Controller is responsible for supporting global operation finance management topics, especially for the plant sites in US, driving continuously improvement in finance operation and partnering business. This position reports to the Finance Director Operations and is part of the Global Ops Finance team located in San Jose, CA, US and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Act as a key business partner to the operation director and operations staff, contributing to process improvement and execution Support the setting up, monitoring, managing and follow up actions for global operation KPI objectives, finance bowler and saving projects. Drive continuous improvement in the financial operations and FP&A for plants located in US and Austria Analyze and report on manufacturing efficiency variances, providing insights and recommending corrective actions Ensure a robust system of internal controls is in place for inventory and maintain SOX compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting field with 5+ years of experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years experience OR Doctorial degree in field with 0+ years experience
  • Practical experience in costing, financial planning, reporting and control.
  • Ability to work with high self-motivation, be sensitive to numbers and the capacity to work in a changeable and stressful environment.
  • Well-developed inter-personal skills and good communication skills.
  • Strong business partnering and teamwork mindset.
  • Ability to travel – Less than 10%

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certificates would be a plus
  • Oracle and HFM experience preferred
  • Manufacturing finance and costing related experience is preferred
