About The Position

The Operating Room Technician will: Function as a Scrub Assistant during general surgeries. Set up Operating Rooms with sterile instruments and surgical supplies. Assist with the care, preparation, and maintenance of sterile and unsterile equipment, instruments and supplies. Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice to ensure implementation of the Plan of Care and communicating information pertinent to the patient's status to Registered Nurse.

Requirements

Graduate of a Surgical Technical Program, an accredited Practical School of Nursing, equivalent training or successful completion of an orientation program.
Ability to work on call under direction of the RN.
BLS administration required.
