About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a day-shift contract in Columbia, South Carolina . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatric surgical cases and thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Strong experience in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatrics (required)
• Ability to pass a medical competency test
• Previous OR experience in a high-acuity setting
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
• Flu Vaccine: Required (No exemptions)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
• Demonstrate strong competency in ENT, Plastic Surgery, and Pediatric cases
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams
• Accurately document care in accordance with facility protocols
• 3–4 call shifts per 6-week schedule
• One call shift will be on a weekend
