About The Position

Sentara is hiring an Operating Room Manager at Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach Virginia. Shift: First Shift, call required. Overview This role will support 11 ORs performing over 8,000 cases per year. Assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success. Responsible for the delivery of high quality services which meet or exceed customer expectations. Position is responsible for safe management of patients throughout perioperative experience. Serve as mentor by role modeling a professional practice consistent with surgeon expectations, organizational goals, customer service, clinical effectiveness, patient safety and clinical standards of care. This role has support from an OR Supervisor, 3 Unit Coordinators, a Lead Surgical Assistant, and has Service Line Leads for all departmental services. Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is a 174-bed acute care hospital that provides quality clinical outcomes, experienced physicians, advanced technology, and a patient-centered approach to care in southern Virginia Beach, as well as neighboring Chesapeake and Northeastern North Carolina communities. Requirements

BSN Degree REQUIRED
Virginia RN License REQUIRED
3 year OR experience REQUIRED
3 years leadership experience REQUIRED
Strong leadership and communications skills are a must.

Nice To Haves

Master's level degree in nursing PREFERRED
