About The Position
This position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the successful operation of high speed digital copier, printing and finishing systems associated with an in-house copy/print center. Service is provided to all entities in close proximity to Church Headquarters including local ward and stake units. Qualified candidates will have a journey-level understanding and skill set of operating digital copy machines, traditional printing press and/or bookbinding knowledge, traditional workflow processes for the printing production industry and superior customer service skills. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, work with minimal direction yet be able to consistently meet pre-determined deadlines and work within set parameters. Operators are expected to adhere to safety and quality standards, maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure efficient and productive operation of the equipment, meet or exceed production standards, adhere to schedules and customer specifications, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
