Florida Polytechnic University invites applications for tenure-equivalent faculty positions in Computer Science at the rank of instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor to begin January 2025 or August 2025. Position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science, as well as conducting research. Collegiality, active service, and participation in governance in accordance with the vision and mission of the University are also expected. While candidates with all research areas are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to individuals with teaching strengths and interests in operating systems, computer architecture, databases, and computer science theory. The Department of Computer Science (department) offers a BS in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Game Development and Simulation, and Software Engineering as focus areas. The department also offers an MS in Computer Science with Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence as focus areas. The Department continues to grow its student body, research productivity, and successful partnerships with the Central Florida community.
